The life and the writing of Norman Mailer, 1923–2007, year by year: every significant thing he published, in print and in English, and what was written about it.

The successor to the print Works and Days compiled by J. Michael Lennon and Donna Pedro Lennon (2000; revised 2018), continued as a digital edition under the editorship of Jerry Lucas. Curated Work pages carry the substance; a bibliography register aims to be the complete record of Mailer utterances, by and about, 1941–2026; a chronology runs alongside, one page per year. Every Lennon number in the prose is a link.
