Fried‘s “The Norman Mailer Writers Colony – July 2010” (Reflections: Norman Mailer at 100, p. 26) recalls his month as one of seven fellows working in Mailer’s house on Commercial Street in Provincetown, his friendship with J. Michael Lennon, and a visit to Mailer’s grave, where he noticed that Mailer’s years of birth and death matched his own father’s.
